Some day I may sit down and talk about the wizard magic that I have discovered over the years. There are always stories to tell.
I remember a time I was carving a nice piece of maple into a wizard stick and I started to think about wizard magic. Suddenly I could hear a rumbling noise way out in the woods, when I sat the wand back down the rumble stopped. I would have to say that was the best wand I have carved in my lifetime and I still use it to do some real cool magic tricks today.
I also made a small toy magic wand for a young apprentice magician who wanted to learn and perform magic.  That wand flew off of my wood lathe 3 times in the wand shop before I had it finished. I sold that one and called it the magic stick that flew.
There are more magic stories, but I need to get back to making more wizard sticks from some butternut. It will be the first time I have used this wood and will be interesting to see if they have stories within.
